1. Brief

The "Administrative Measures on Pollution Control of Electronic Information Products", that is, the Chinese version of RoHS, its core content is: from March 1, 2007, heavy metals such as lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium and polybrominated biphenyls, polybrominated diphenyl ethers, etc. Control of six toxic and hazardous substances including brominated flame retardants. Starting from product research and development, design, production, sales, imports and other links to do a good job of controlling these toxic and hazardous substances, such as substitution and reduction. If the products produced by electronic information product companies contain toxic and hazardous substances, the name of the toxic and hazardous substances, the environmental protection use period and whether they can be recycled must be marked on the products. At the same time, the three supporting industry standards for anti-pollution control of the electronic information industry, namely "Limit Requirements for Toxic and Harmful Substances in Electronic Information Products", "Requirements for Labeling Pollution Control of Electronic Information Products" and "Detection of Toxic and Harmful Substances in Electronic Information Products" method".

2. The significance of China RoHS

1. 3. Testing products

   The first batch of products included in the nationally promoted voluntary certification product catalog include:

RoHS 2.0 included in CE marking requirements

From January 3, 2013, the original RoHS Directive 2002/95 / EC will be abolished, and all EU countries must update the new Directive 2011/65 / EU (RoHS 2.0) to local laws by January 2, 2013. According to the provisions of the new directive, from the date of the abolition of the old directive, all products under the jurisdiction of the CE mark must meet the requirements of the directives of low voltage (LVD), electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), energy-related products (Erp) and RoHS 2.0 at the same time.
