Introduction to REACH Certification regulations:
The full name of REACH is Registation, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. This is a regulation to ensure the safe entry of chemicals into the EU market and their safe use, aiming at protecting human health and environmental safety, maintaining and enhancing the competitive advantage of the EU chemical industry, improving the innovation ability of enterprises and achieving the goal of sustainable social development.
On 13 December 2006, the European Parliament and the European Council adopted the New Law on the management of chemicals in the EU, namely, the Provisions on registration, Assessment, Licensing and Restrictions on Chemicals (REACH). The regulations will take effect on June 1, 2007.
According to REACH, from 1 June 2018, unregistered chemicals with annual imports of more than 1 tonne will not be allowed to enter the EU market.
